Rowan weather: Warm today, wet tomorrow

Wacky weather continues, with fog this morning, followed by a 20 percent chance of rain, clouds giving way to sun and a high near 72.

We’ll feel the wind today and Thursday as the next weather system moves in. Winds today will be from the southwest at 7-16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight’s low will be 50, warmer than many highs we’ve seen lately, and there will be a 60 percent chance of rain that carries over into early Thursday.

And the chance of rain jumps to 80 percent Thursday, with falling temperatures, dropping to 40 degrees by 5 p.m. Winds will be from the north, 5-10 mph in the morning, gusting as high as 18 mph. Thursday night, the chance of rain drops to 30 percent, with a cold low of 23.

The sun’s supposed to come out Friday, but it will be a cold day, with a high of just 39 degrees. Friday night’s low will be 24, cold again.

Saturday, too, could be sunny, with a high near 54 and a low near 32.

Look for more sun Sunday, with a high hear 56 and a low of 36.

Looks like a trend is developing: Monday should be mostly sunny and 60 degrees, with a low around 37.

Still sunny on Tuesday, with a high of 58.
