Rowan weather: Not as warm this week

If we can get through today, the rest of the week looks sunny, but cooler than last week.

Drizzle is falling and the temperature is around 40 degrees. We can expect a 30 percent chance of rain today, mainly before 11 a.m., then mostly cloudy, with a high of 50. Tonight will be cold and windy, with a low of 28 and wind from the northwest at 7-11 mph, with gusts up to 21.

Tuesday, though, will be mostly sunny, with a high near 43. The wind will die down to 6-8 mph. Tuesday night will be quite cold, with a low of 23.

Not too warm on Wednesday, with a high of 45, but the sun will shine and the wind will be around 5 mph. Wednesday night’s low will be 26.

Partly sunny skies for Thursday, but a bit warmer, with a high of 50. The low will be around 34.

Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 49 and a low of 26.

Saturday will be chilly, nothing like this week. It will be mostly sunny with a high near 44 and a low around 29.

From this point, Sunday looks to be about the same, mostly sunny and 44.
