In Salisbury Police Department reports: 

• A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 200 block of West Harrison Street at 5:53 a.m. on May 8.
• A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 800 block of South Jackson Street between 9:30 p.m. on May 7 and 4:30 a.m. on May 8.
• A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 500 block of Union Heights Boulevard between 8 p.m. on May 7 and 8:15 a.m. on May 8. The total estimated loss was $210.
• Andrew Jones, 35, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance on May 8.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• Littering or trash dumping occurred at Beck Road at 3:32 p.m. on May 7.
• Using or uttering a forged instrument occurred at Ridenhour Road between noon on Feb. 1 and noon on Feb. 16. It was reported on May 7.
• Kristen Marie Jarvis, 32, was charged with misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on May 7.
• Demetrius Lamon Campbell, 20, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a government official and misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer on May 7.
• Ontario Dontre Howard, 43, was charged with felony larceny of a dog and felony obtaining property by false pretenses on May 7.
• Dadrian Terrell Donald, 42, was charged with felony possession of a phone or communications device by an inmate on May 7.
