Rowan weather: Black ice causing accidents
Beware of black ice, which is plaguing roads throughout the county, especially bridges. Numerous accidents are being reported, on U.S. 52, Bringle Ferry Road and I-85. Injuries have been minor in most cases.
The temperature of 28 degrees should warm as the sun rises, but keep an eye on your speed and road conditions.
Freezing fog and light rain last night set the stage for icy windshields and roads.

Saturday will still be sunny, but not quite as warm as first predicted. The high will be 48, and the low will be 35.

Wednesday will be a little bit warmer, with partly sunny skies and a high of 54. The low will be near 34.
