SALISBURY — Despite the weather, the 1st Friday event scheduled for Friday in downtown Salisbury is still on.
March Against Hunger will run from 5 to 8 p.m. People who bring four or more pantry or toiletry items for Rowan Helping Ministries will receive a one-night-only downtown shopping pass good at any of the participating merchants.
However, organizers are moving the donation collection area inside the Visitor’s Center in the Gateway Building, 204 E. Innes St.
Participating restaurants will donate 10 percent of their revenue to RHM from 5 to 8 p.m.
