Rowan County investigators are looking into the theft of several pieces of merchandise taken from the Dillard’s warehouse on Peach Orchard Road. Detectives with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office believe items were taken by temporary employees who were working at the warehouse during the holiday season beginning around Dec. 16 through Jan. 6, a report said.
It is not clear what items were taken, but officials say they believe the items were taken from boxes ready to be shipped to stores. No one has been charged.
