Lester Glenn Scott and Martha Jones Scott of Salisbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 30, 2013.
They were married at the home of Minister J.Q. McMillian in Mooresville on Nov. 30, 1963.
Lester served in the U.S. Army and retired from HBD Industries in Salisbury after working 32 years.
Martha retired from PPG Industries in Lexington as a Crew Coach after 26 years of service. She is a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Kannapolis.
The Scotts are blessed with one lovely daughter, Angela Delores Scott, who lives in McLeansville.
