RALEIGH (AP) — Everything people want to know about turf is available to the public and the industry at North Carolina State University.
The school’s Turfgrass Field Day is scheduled for Wednesday at the Lake Wheeler Turfgrass Research Lab.
The field day is held once a year and offers the industry and general public a chance to view the Turfgrass Program’s ongoing research trials and speak directly with N.C. State turfgrass faculty and staff.
Topics include integrated pest management, cultural practices, irrigation technologies, aquatic weed management and weed control. Presenters will provide lots of useful tips and tricks.
After the talks, visitors can enjoy a catered lunch.
