Cub Scout Pack 443, sponsored by St. John’s Lutheran Church, enjoyed a long list of activities in June, including lots of food, fireworks and even catching a baseball or two on Scout Night with the Kannapolis Intimidators. June also included Webelos Residence Camp at Camp Barnhardt and Wild West Week Day Camp. A cooling-down Pack Pool Party was held July 20.
Movie in the Park is slotted for Aug. 2 and the Monster Truck Bash for Aug. 10 at the Charlotte Speedway. Aug. 23-24 family camping will be held at St. John’s Retreat Property. Monday night den meetings at St. John’s Church begin on Aug. 26 from 6:30-8 p.m.
