19-year-old arrested again
SALISBURY — Police arrested a 19-year-old accused of breaking into a Boyden Street home and stealing jewelry last week.
Freeman Payton, of Milford Hills Road, was taken into custody at his home Wednesday morning, police said.
He was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and two counts of felony obtaining property by false pretense.
A Salisbury Police report said Payton broke into a home on Boyden Street on June 13 and took bracelets, rings and other jewelry.
He was under a $20,000 bond Wednesday morning.
Freeman was arrested in April after police said he broke into the J.F. Hurley YMCA on Jake Alexander Boulevard.
Authorities said Freeman was seen running from the scene when officers arrived.
He was also arrested in January after he was shocked by a Taser in court when he attempted to call a “time out.”
