Woman charged with felony possession

A woman with addresses in Salisbury and Spencer faces felony drug charges following a search by Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and Concord Police Vice Units.
On Thursday, law enforcement conducted a search at 726 Park Ave., Salisbury, and seized 11 pounds of marijuana.
The search was the result of an investigation of 42-year-old Nicole Sharmane Crawford, of 402 N. Yadkin Ave., Spencer, and of 726 Park Ave., Salisbury, being involved in the sale of marijuana in Salisbury and Concord. Investigators arrested Crawford at the Park Avenue residence and charged her with felony trafficking in marijuana, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep, store, and sell marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was placed in jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
