SALISBURY — A Salisbury woman is in jail under a $1 million bond after being arrested by the State Bureau of Investigation on Friday.
Sandra Lynn Honeycutt, 44, of 4834 U.S. 601 N., is accused of taking three 500-count stock bottles of hydrocodone while working as a pharmacy technician at the CVS on Statesville Boulevard. That equates to more than 84 grams of hydrocodone, which is a derivative of opium.
Hydrocodone is typically prescribed for pain relief.
Honeycutt has been charged with three counts of embezzling a controlled substance by an employee and three counts of trafficking heroin.
She is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
