SALISBURY — Several people broke into the fieldhouse at Knox Middle School over the holiday weekend and rode around on the school’s lawn mowers.
A Salisbury Police report said the incident at 1625 W. Park Road was reported Monday morning after school officials discovered the break-in.
A side window at the building was broken and two lawn mowers had damage to the front ends.
The report said only the keys to the lawn mowers were missing from the building.
Officers said they found broken plastic on the school’s track where the suspects appeared to have rammed the two mowers into each other.
No one has been charged in the break-in.
Police said they are continuing to investigate the incident.
