SALISBURY — Former Charlotte mayor and potential gubernatorial candidate Pat McCrory will be speaking Saturday morning at Gary’s Barbecue in China Grove. The event will last from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
McCrory, a Republican who lost to Democrat Bev Perdue in his 2008 bid for governor, is expected to announce his entry into the 2012 race at the beginning of next year. He also has events scheduled tomorrow in Albemarle, Asheboro and Pinehurst.
