A son, Bruce Wayne, was born to Lauren Shores Zimmerman and Glen Edward Zimmerman II of Raleigh on Oct. 14, 2011, at Duke University Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Grandparents are Della Zimmerman of Durham, Glen and Veronica Zimmerman of Tucson, Ariz., and Kelly and Dawn Shores of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Ruby Shores and Billy and Margie Martin of Salisbury, and Arty and Phyllis Holshouser of Durham.
