Tea Party hosting FreedomFest on Saturday

SALISBURY ó The Rowan County Tea Party Patriots will host a FreedomFest rally Saturday with guest speakers, food, music and childrenís activities.
The event will be held from 2 to 5:30 p.m. at the Salisbury Farmers Market, South Main Street at East Bank Street.
Everyone is welcome, and admission is free. There will be a bounce castle, a slide and face painting.
The featured speaker will be the Rev. C.L. Bryant, founder of One Nation Back to God, a movement based on American exceptionalism and emphasizing traditional morals and conservative political values.
The event also will feature retired Maj. Dave Goetze as emcee and The Stan Bobbitt Band.
Those attending FreedomFest can visit with the following North Carolina representatives from national constitutional groups: Jessica Anderson from the Heritage Foundation; Kevin Daniel from the Frederick Douglas Foundation; Kathy Hartkopf from Freedom Works; Marcus Kindley from Americans for Prosperity; Bobby Kent from Americans for FairTax; Becki Grey from the John Locke Foundation; and a representative from the Parental Rights Organization.
