KANNAPOLIS — A Saw Road man was charged on Oct. 11 after Kannapolis Police said he purchased heroin from a Sloop Road home.
According to a Kannapolis Police report, Benjamin Milem, 2555 Saw Road, was charged after he went to 208 Sloop Road at about 2:30 p.m. and bought .1 grams of heroin.
Milem was charged with felony possession of heroin and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia.
Police said they noticed Milem purchase the drugs because he was in an area with freqent drug activity.
Milem was arrested, but later released after posting bond.
