Restaurant robbed in Kannapolis

KANNAPOLIS — Police say two masked men robbed a Chinese restaurant in Kannapolis Thursday night, taking the cash register and leaving on foot.
According to a Kannapolis Police Department report, the two men walked into Shanghai House at 924 S. Main St. at about 9:50 p.m. wearing black hoodies and masked.
The men demanded money and left traveling north with a cash register.
The report said there were no customers in the restaurants, but that the owner, listed in the report as Mr. Chen, and his wife were there.
