A third person has been identified in a Salisbury Police drug bust early Tuesday morning as Justin Lewis Saunders.
Saunders, 20, was one of three West Virginia residents arrested after police stopped a vehicle at about 3:45 a.m. at the intersection of North Long Street and East Council Street.
Police found marijuana between the driver’s seat and the center console, according to the report. Saunders was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Salisbury Police also found 48 oxycodone tablets and marijuana in a pill bottle in an undisclosed location in the possession of 18-year-old Nicole Richmond, the report said. The narcotics were initially believed to be cocaine, but was later clarified in the arrest report as oxycodone. Richmond was searched by a female officer.
Brandon Adam Ferguson, 21, a backseat passenger, was charged with outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court.
Ferguson and Saunders were each given $2,500 bonds.
Richmond was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver oxycodone, felony maintaining a vehicle for storing drugs, and possession of marijuana. She was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
