Southbound motorists on I-85 near Lexington will encounter daytime lane closures Sept. 12-14 as N.C. Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews do repair work on the bridge over Abbots Creek.
Weather permitting, two of the three lanes will be closed each day from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The area is between Exits 94 and 91. Crews will be doing repair work on the bridge’s surface and embankment.
