Sharon Miller made a hole-in-one on No. 17 during a Labor Day 4-Ball qualifying round at the Country Club of Salisbury on Friday.
She was playing with Mechelle Kuld, Patty Mason and Beverly Cobb.
It was Millerís second hole-in-one.
n Roy Dixon and Glenn Dixon led Labor Day 4-Ball qualifying on Friday with a 66. Troy Beaver and Alex Nianouris shot 68. Richard Cobb and Joey Boley shot 69.

nMike Reid, owner of Porkyís, scored his third career hole at Warrior Golf Club on Friday.
Reid aced the 125-yard No. 6 hole with a 9-iron. His playing partners were David Fortson, Steve Fulcher, Tony Huffman and Ronnie Clodfelter.

South Rowan got a big rushing game from Michael Childress in a 33-12 loss to A.L. Brown on Thursday.
Josh Daniels caught a TD pass, and Derrick Blackwell ran for a touchdown.
n Pro baseball
The Kannapolis Intimidators fell 7-2 to Rome Friday night. The Intimidators got a home run from Dan Black in the first inning, but couldnít score afterwords as Sean Gilmartin earned the win on the mound for Rome.
Jon Bachanov got the loss, pitching three innings and allowing six runs.
