CLEVELAND — A Cleveland man was arrested Saturday after he assaulted Salisbury man with a machete.
Salisbury Police charged Harvey Lee Boyd, 51, of 3425 Chenault Road, with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury after he cut Howard Thomas Lowe, of 1220 Crosby St..
Boyd was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after officers found a crack pipe.
He was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond.
