Man dies in Concord fire

CONCORD — A man died early this morning in a fire on Aztec Drive.
The Cabarrus County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire at 4995 Aztec Drive. The call came in at 1:12 a.m. today. The Georgeville, Midland, Flowe’s Store and Allen fire departments went to the scene and found the mobile home heavily involved with fire. The adult victim was found inside the structure by fire personnel.
The body of the victim has been transported to the medical examiner’s office. The Cabarrus County Fire Marshal’s Office is on the scene investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office, Cabarrus County EMS and Cabarrus County Rescue Squad also responded to the scene.
