Report: Man runs from police, tosses gun

SALISBURY—An East Spencer man earned felony charges and a $50,000 bond Wednesday night after he fled on foot at a traffic stop.
According to a Salisbury Police report, Dadrian Donald, 440 Heiligtown Road, aggressively sped away after narcotics units attempted to stop him about 9:30 p.m. When police units caught up with the man, he brought the black cadillac to a halt at West Horah Street and Vanderford Street, ditching the car and fleeing on foot.
Authorities reported the 29-year-old pulled a handgun from his waistband and tossed it away while fleeing. Officers quickly caught and arrested Donald.
Donald was charged with felony possession of stolen goods, felony possession of a firearm by a felon and resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer. He was given a $50,000 secured bond.
