Poor air quality through Monday

Poor air quality is expected to continue over the weekend and into Monday, according to forecasters.
Air quality has been at code orange levels since Monday, with the air considered unhealthy for sensitive groups.
Those groups include people who have asthma or other respiratory diseasess or heart disease. Children, active adults and the elderly are urged to limit outdoor activities.
Open burning is generally prohibited on air quality action days. Motorists are encouraged to drive less. Homeowners should conserve electricity. Mowing and yardwork should be postponed until after 6 p.m.
Temperatures are expected to continue in the 90s throughout next week, with little chance of rain.
