Empty cash register stolen
SALISBURY — Someone who broke into Flowers Bakery Thrift Store early this morning made off with a cash register, but the cash register was empty, a Salisbury Police report said.
A window to the store, at 1405 N. Main St., was broken, and police said nothing else was taken from the store. Damage to the window totaled $750 and the cash register is valued at $300.
Police said the alarm to the store went off around 12 a.m. and police were dispatched. A neighbor also saw the broken window and called police.
The case is under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-5333.
