Severe thunderstorm warning

A severe thunderstorm warning for Rowan and southeastern Davie counties is in effect until 1:45 p.m.
At 1:05 p.m. a severe thunderstorm was reported capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.
This storm was located near Enochville, moving northeast at 40 mph.
Other locations in the warning include but are not limited to Landis, China Grove, Faith, Rockwell, Granite Quarry, Woodleaf, Salisbury, Cooleemee, Spencer, Craven and Fork Church.
