CHINA GROVE — A salvage yard contacted law enforcement saying someone hopped a fence and stole items from cars at their Recovery Road business.
Copart Manager Brian Sell reported on Monday to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office that someone used a ladder to climb over a fence and take items from the business.
The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between Friday and early Monday.
“They will have to do a complete inventory to see what’s missing,” said Sheriff’s Capt. John Sifford.
Copart is located at 1081 Recovery Road.
