Lone gunman robs Taco Bell
The Salisbury Police Department responded to a call of a robbery in progress at the Taco Bell at 602 E. Innes St. last night at about 10:30 p.m.
When officers arrived, they were informed that a black male with a dark blue hoodie, a black bandana covering his face, black gloves and black boots had jumped over the counter and pointed a small silver-colored handgun at an employee and demanded money.
The lone gunman was handed an undisclosed amount of cash and ran out the door before officers arrived.
A police dog was used to track the suspect, but the dog lost the scent just south of the restaurant.
The robbery is under investigation.
