Murder suspect Antonio Marquell Jackson surrendered to Salisbury Police on Saturday.
Jackson, 23, was taken into custody without incident shortly after 1 p.m. and placed in the Rowan County Jail without bond.
Jackson’s first court appearence is scheduled for early this week, according to a press release from Steve Whitley, deputy chief of police.
A warrant was issued for Jackson’s arrest after a shooting just after midnight Christmas morning at 1024 North Jackson St. left 27-year-old Antonio Jermaine Allen dead from a gunshot wound.
