Police hand out more than 40 traffic citations

Salisbury Police reported more than 40 traffic citations during between Dec. 26-29.
Many of the citations involved improper lighting of vehicles and failure to operate headlamps between sunset and sunrise.
In other reports or charges from the Salisbury Police on Dec. 28:
– Jeremiah Dayquan Howie, 18, 1515 S. Salisbury Ave., Spencer was charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons involving of an individual at Pine Hill Apartments on Oct. 7.
In other reports or charges from the Salisbury Police on Dec. 26:
– Salynn Steele Jarrell, reported the theft of $14,000 in jewelry from a residence at 323 Muirfield Way.
The theft occurred between Oct. 5 and Nov. 22 at a home where she had moved from.
Reports or charges from Dec. 24:
– Darin Patrick Tratzinski was charged with possession of cocaine;
– Vincent Eugene McNeal was charged with hit and run injury in an incident Dec. 26 at 1404 N. Jackson St. after failing to yield and hitting another vehicle.
According to police, McNeal struck a Buick Lesabre operated by Willie Clement. The Buick then collided with the house at 1404 N. Jackson St.
