Electric motors stolen from mill

The owner of a Gold Hill lumber company has reported the theft of more than $18,000 worth of electric motors.
William Leroy Earnhardt, owner of Earnhardt Lumber Co., 13525 U.S. 52, reported the theft of 10 electric motors ranging from 10 to 200 horsepower.
According to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office report, the theft occurred between Dec. 5 and Dec. 19.
Other Sheriff’s Office reports or arrests:
– Randy Douglas Parks reported the theft of $4,625 worth of tools from a home at 2145 Third Creek Church Road, Cleveland.
The tools included S&K, Snap-on and Mac socket sets, wrenches, an impact wrench and a torque wrench.
The items were taken between Dec. 15 and Dec. 18.
