KANNAPOLIS ó Hundreds of Rowan and Cabarrus residents are expected to participate in the annual Alzheimer’s Association’s Memory Walk Saturday at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium.
The 2007 Memory Walk, held at different locations across the country, raised public awareness and more than $35 million for the care and support of those affected by the disease as well as research for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s.
Registration starts at 9 a.m., and the walk will begin at 10.
