Police are making progress in identifying as many as six people in a shootout at Civic Apartments, but are asking for help from the community.
A bus dropping off First Calvary Baptist Church members ended up in the crossfire Sunday afternoon.
No one on the bus was hurt, but at least two bullets struck the bus.
Witnesses said some of the shooters were in a gray Honda and others in a black Mercury.
Chief of Police Mark Wilhelm said police have received several calls or reports from the community.
“The investigators have made progress; we’re still working,” Wilhelm said Wednesday.
Anyone with information as to the identity of this individual is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245. Information received will be kept confidential and Crime Stoppers does pay cash rewards.
