Man charged after selling stolen tools

Staff reportA Salisbury man has been charged with stealing tools and materials from an outbuilding and then selling them to a recycling business.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has charged Nathaniel Wade Holshouser, 20, 1904 E. Innes St., was charged Sunday with breaking and entering the building at 4860 Jack Brown Road on Sept. 29.
Capt. John Sifford said Holshouser sold the tools and materials to SMR Core and Metal at 3875 Statesville Blvd.
Sifford said an officer did a routine check of the log at the recycling business and saw the list included items taken from the Jack Brown Road break-in.
Among the items taken and processed were: stainless steel table tops, an electric impact wrench, two 3-phase electric motors, two 8-inch circulating pumps.
He is also charged with nine counts of obtaining property by false pretense.
Holshouser is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center with bond set at $1,500.
