A Salisbury man has been charged with child abuse after deputies discovered he was “extremely intoxicated.”
Danny Kepley, 2165 Cauble Road, was charged with child abuse and resisting law enforcement on Nov. 8.
According to a report from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, the child’s mother called the Sheriff’s Office after she became concerned about his welfare. Under a custody agreement, Kepley had weekend visitation rights.
Capt. John Sifford said Kepley became combative and was extremely drunk.
