STATESVILLE ó The Evening Farmers Market at Pecan Park in historic downtown Statesville will host Kids Night at the Market Aug. 6 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Free tattoos, farm coloring books, music, games and more will be offered to acquaint kids to shopping at farmers markets.
Maestros Café from downtown Statesville will be at the market “Cooking for Kids.”
The market offers locally grown tomatoes, corn, squash, watermelon, cantaloupes, apples, blueberries, cucumbers, peppers, fresh herbs, herb plants, eggs, freshly baked breads, jams, jellies, hand-made soaps and lotions, flower bouquets, all natural pet treats and more
