Deputies looking for man collecting lottery winnings

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man with a lot of winning lottery tickets.
The man has collected on several winning tickets at different stores around the county.
The problem is that the winning tickets were stolen in a break-in at a Bringle Ferry Road store on Sunday.
Capt. John Sifford said officers aren’t sure how the man came by the tickets. At this point they want to talk with him about the tickets.
Officers are sure the tickets were taken in a break-in at Jack’s Grocery at 3785 Bringle Ferry Road between 4:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Among the items taken were around 150 lottery tickets running the gamut from “3 Times Lucky,” “Super Bingo” and “Double Your Luck.”
