Blotter: Teen steals car, man uses brick to break into car

A 14-year-old Salisbury boy got into a bit of trouble Monday when he wanted to spend time with friends.
Tiffany Marie Vivian Mathis of 715 Mack St., reported her car stolen.
Salisbury police determined that her nephew had taken the car and drove to East Spencer to pick up two friends.
He returned the car undamaged to the Mathis home.
The trio left the Mack Street residence but were apprehended a block a way.
The teen was referred to Juvenile Services.
Reports of incidents or charges on Oct. 14:
– Crescent Hill Golf Club, 220 Laurel Valley Way, reported a breaking and entering.
Reports of incidents or charges from Oct. 12:
– Salisbury Police investigated a report that a Food Lion employee used a corporate credit card for personal use without permission.
The employee agreed to repay the nearly $3,000 in charges.
– Southern Motors, 1605 S. Main St., reported that three tires on two vehicles were damaged and a fence post broken.
– Tyris Renard Davidson, 22, was charged with felony breaking and entering of a vehicle.
According to police reports, he used a landscape brick to break into a car on Maple Avenue and took a purse and digital camera.
– Mila Desiree Simmons, 18, was charged with felony breaking and entering of motor vehicles.

– Raynell Shawnta Rustin, 24, was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense.
– Colt Clinton Yates, 27, felony, was charged with forgery and uttering.
