East Spencer police are seeking information on three men involved in a shooting that left a Concord man with multiple wounds.
Police said Devictor Durango Jackson of Concord was shot several times by three men in the 400 block of Royal Street in East Spencer about 5:15 p.m. Sunday.
A vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting was recovered several miles away and had blood in and about the outside of the passenger side of the vehicle.
Witnesses said the victim was driven to Rowan Regional Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
“We do not know what led to the shooting and we are still trying to piece together what took place,” said East Spencer police spokesman Sgt. Floyd Baldo.
The vehicle was traced to a Forsyth County address, but attempts to locate its owner have been unsuccessful so far. The victim did not provide any details of the incident, Baldo said.
