The first year of Michael Lowman’s tenure as South Rowan Legion coach ended in a 17-win season, which concluded Saturday in a playoff loss to Mooresville.
South gave its fans plenty to cheer about with one of the top offensive clubs in the Southern Division. It finished second to Rowan County in the standings, assuring this county remains as loyal to Legion baseball as any in the state ó talent-wise and attendance-wise.
