The Salisbury girls basketball team beat previously unblemished East Davidson 26-24 in the Western Regional final Saturday in Greensboro.
“Points don’t matter,” said first-year SHS coach Andrew Mitchell. “I don’t care if it was a one-point win or a half-a-point win. The result is the same ó we’re going to the state championship game.”
