A daughter, Camille Marie, was born to the Rev. P.J. Harrison and Melanie Phelps Harrison of Youngsville on Oct. 10, 2008, at Rex Hospital, Raleigh. She weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces. Grandparents are William C. and Rebecca Boyd Phelps of Salisbury and Julian E. and Mary Graham Harrison of Bushnell, Fla. Eula Harrison of Laurel Hill, Fla., is great-grandparent.
Sofie Freeze
A daughter, Sofie Erin, was born to Theresa Davis and Bryan Freeze of Woodleaf on Sept. 29, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces. Grandparents are Ned and Marcella Freeze,and Joe and Mary Davis, all of Salisbury.Bryce Botts
A son, Bryce Anthony, was born to Crystal and Timothy Botts of Granite Quarry on Nov. 9, 2008, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. He has two brothers, Brandon, 7, and Bryan, 5. Grandparents are Corby and Cindy Botts of Rockwell and Charlotte Saxon and Jim Pulliam, both of Granite Quarry.
Charles Branan
A son, Charles Trott, was born to Meg and Bart Branan, of Charleston, S.C., Oct. 6, 2008, at the East Cooper Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard P. Goodman of Salisbury, Mr. C.B. Branan and Mrs. Margaret Mims Branan, both of Charleston, S.C. Great-grandparents are Mrs. Edward M. Murphy of Salisbury.
Kai McCabe
A daughter, Kai Shannon, was born to Lindsey and James McCabe on Oct. 19, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces. Grandparents are Susan and Randy Follas of Salisbury and Jim and Lisa McCabe of Forty-Fort, Pa.
Addison Malnar
A daughter, Addison Rose, was born to Lauren Adele Malnar of Granite Quarry, Oct. 20, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 10.5 ounces. Grandparents are Rhonda Malnar of Johnstown, Pa., and Robert and Ronda Malnar of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are JoAnn and Ronald Eutin of Stoystown, Pa., and Karen Malnar of Hooversville, Pa.
Andalyn Kerns
A daughter, Andalyn Makenzie, was born to Travis and Candace Lail Kerns of Winston-Salem on Oct. 15, 2008, at Forsyth Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 11.5 ounces. She has a sister, Jenica Isabel, 2. Grandparents are Tommy and Joan Kerns of Salisbury and Mick Lail and Susie Lail, both of Hickory.
Aiden Hammill
A son, Aiden River, was born to Rebecca and Josh Hammill of Rockwell on Aug. 6, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. Grandparents are Rob and Nancy Ramsing of Salisbury, Beth Ramsing, Debbie and Keith Messick, all of Rockwell, and the late Larry Hammill. Great-grandparents are Frances West of Concord, Mary Ramsing of Baldwinsville, N.Y., Jean and George Kluttz of Rockwell and Joanne Hammill of Faith. Sarah Hagler of Concord is great-great-grandparent.
Chloe Cress
A daughter, Chloe Nicole, was born to Carrie and Brian Cress of China Grove on Oct. 30, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 1/2 ounces. Grandparents are Steve and Kathy Newton and Rodney and Millie Cress, all of Salisbury, and Sharon Brawley of China Grove. Helen Cress of China Grove is great-grandparent.
Colben Morgan
A son, Colben Franklin, was born to Jessica and Phillip Morgan of Salisbury on Nov. 7, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces. He has a brother, Crispin Thomas, 3, and a sister, Kitana Jade, 7. Grandparents are John Lyerly Jr. of China Grove, David Morgan of Salisbury, Robin Mirachi of Denver and Karen Lee of Kannapolis.
