READ THE REPORT: Accused teens statements regarding 2006 death of scooter rider
In May 2006, armed with beer and eggs, six young people went looking for someone to harass. They picked a man riding his scooter along U.S. 52. But the prank turned deadly, the friends’ car and the scooter collided and the young people drove away. And 27-year-old Michael Jason Brown died.
More than two years later, details of how Brown died are still emerging, according to statements made to the authorities by three of the six accused.
