Panthers to host Giants, Redskins in preseason
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Carolina Panthers will host the Super Bowl champion New York Giants and Washington in their two preseason home games.
The four-game exhibition schedule announced Thursday also includes a nationally televised game at Philadelphia and a trip to Pittsburgh.
The Panthers will open against the Giants on the weekend of Aug. 8-10 at Bank of America Stadium. Carolina will then visit the Eagles on Aug. 14 in a game shown on Fox.
The Panthers will entertain the Redskins on the weekend of Aug. 22-24 and then close the preseason on either Aug. 28 or 29 at Pittsburgh. Exact dates will be announced later.
The Panthers regular-season scheduled will be released later this month.
