Keith Dahlin Wetherbee, 48, 1300 Venus St., died Thursday (Jan. 25, 2007) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.

Born Dec. 10, 1958, in Iredell County, Mr. Wetherbee was a son of Richard Wetherbee, Hartford, Conn., and and Jeri Benge Birkholz, Kannapolis.

He was employed by B&B Steel Erectors, Gastonia, in iron works for several years and was a member of Fisher Street Baptist Church, Concord. He had a special love of drawing sketches.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife of 30 years, Sheila Morton Wetherbee; daughter Crystal Ann Wetherbee, Concord; son Keith Dahlin Wetherbee Jr., Kannapolis; brother Richard Wetherbee, Kannapolis; sisters Elaina Marlowe, Kannapolis, Paula Daugherty, Camden, S.C., Waynette Allison, Morganton, Candace Mundy, Tampa, Fla., and Brenda Steward, Taylorsville; and five grandchildren.

A service was held Monday (Jan. 29, 2007) at Whitley’s Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Joey Spry. Burial, West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
