CONCORD — Janice Karen Foster, 60, Concord died Saturday (Jan. 27, 2007) at her home, after battling two occurrences of breast cancer.

Born Sept. 23, 1946, in Binghamton, N.Y., Mrs. Foster was a daughter of the late John and Francesca Miller Dick.

She was owner-operator of Lunchtime Anytime Catering and volunteered for Wings of Eagles and NorthEast Medical Center.

Survivors include husband Dennis L. Foster, whom she married Dec. 28, 1985; daughters Kimberly Roscoe, Binghamton, N.Y., Cheri Malkasian, Worcester, Mass., and Laurie Miosky, Oneonta, NY. Step Son; Brandon Foster of Utica, N.Y.; stepdaughter Alicia Foster, Utica, N.Y.; brothers John Richards, Binghamton, N.Y., and Thomas Richards, Rochester, N.Y.; sister Margaret Smolchnop, Binghamton, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.

Services: Memorial, 3 p.m. today (Jan. 31, 2007), at the residence, conducted by Karen Kaser, chaplain, Hospice of Cabarrus County.

Evergreen Cremation Services of Salisbury is in charge.
