Roy Harold Wyatt

Roy Harold Wyatt, 65, Kannapolis, died Sunday (Jan. 21, 2007) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.

Born May 26, 1941, in Rowan County, Mr. Wyatt was a son of the late Gaither P. and Ruth Eller Wyatt.

A graduate of A.L. Brown High School, he served in the U.S. Navy and drove a truck for Bennett Transportation.

He was a Baptist.

His daughter, Shelia Diane Wyatt, died in 1986.

Survivors include sons Steven Lee Wyatt, China Grove, Norman Murray Wyatt, Hampton, Tenn., and Richard Eugene Wyatt, Richfield; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Visitation: 6:30-8:30 tonight (Jan. 24, 2007), Powles Funeral Home, Rockwell, and at other times at the home of son Steven Lee Wyatt, China Grove.
