CHINA GROVE – Robert Lee Brady, 95, of 1055 Kimball Road, died Friday Dec. 22, 2006 at Hospice House of Cabarrus.

Mr. Brady was born Sept. 7, 1911 in Rowan County to the late John Lee Brady and Eva Morgan Brady. He was educated in the Rowan County Schools and retired from Linn Corriher Mills after 35 years of employment. He was a member of Mount Moriah Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Garver Brady who he married in 1942; sons, Robert Allen Brady and wife Dianne of Selma, James Lee Brady and wife Janice of China Grove, Vern Eugene Brady and wife Cindy of Concord; brother, C.L. “Doc” Brady and wife Helen of Gold Hill; sister, Janet B. Howell and husband Ray of Gold Hill; five grandchildren, Scott, Eddie and Eric Brady, Lynn Sellers and Lisa Phillips and eight great-grandchildren.

Service: 2 p.m. today at Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church with Rev. Joseph Tallent officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. today at the church.

Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove is assisting the family.
