Jeffrey Ward

LEXINGTON – Jeffrey Aaron Ward, 5, of Holly Brook Circle, went home to be with his Heavenly Father early Friday morning, Dec. 15, 2006, after a sudden illness. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Jeffrey was born Jan. 14, 2001, in Rowan County to Bennie Kay Ward Jr. and Pamela Wealing Ward. He was a Kindergarten student at Southwood Elementary School. Jeffrey played basketball for the Southwood Tarheels and was a white belt student at Sidekick Karate. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Surviving are father and mother Bennie Kay Ward Jr. and Pamela Wealing Ward of the home; twin sister Makayla Joy Ward of the home; paternal grandparents Bennie Kay Ward Sr. and wife Vivian of Lexington; maternal grandparents Dean Wealing and wife Beverly of Fowler, Ind.; great-grandmother Neva Wealing of Fowler; uncles Steven Ward and wife DeLane of Lexington and Rodney Wealing of Fowler; and cousins Kylie Ward, Salem Ward, Dakotah Wealing, Daphne Wealing and Curtis Wealing. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: 1 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Lance. Burial will be at New Jerusalem United Church of Christ. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Memorials: First Baptist Church of Salisbury, First Ministry Center, 223 N.
